Stadtmitte – Namibia’s Starbucks

Stadtmitte Cafe

Stadtmitte Cafe

The Stadtmitte Cafe is like a breath of fresh air in the historical town of Swakopmund.  Swakopmund is a holiday destination for most Namibians and when you have been going to the same old restaurants for more than 20 years you are bound it get a bit over them.  Stadtmitte Cafe is a lovely NEW cafe with the same concept as the American Starbucks.  You order and pay at the counter and they serve you at your table.

I had a super delicious Honey Mustard Chicken wrap, filled with chicken strips, bacon, cheese and honey mustard sauce. For dessert I had a cheese cake!!  Their drinks are all really good too, hot drinks, cold drinks, smoothies, frappes and fruit juices.

  1. This post is just perfect for me. I’m a big fan of skinny latte served in Starbucks and a dessert lover. Great place with a great variety of delicacies. I would love to dig into a vegetarian dish there!

    • I was so happy to know that Namibia is finally getting places like the Stadmitte Cafe!!! It was packed with young people and it had a great vibe!! And we blogger love places like that, where there is good coffee and fast internet 🙂
